We have some amazing films, from places as remote and different as Russia, Rwanda and the salmon runs of British Columbia. We have stories of people who have stopped deserts, who have planted trees everywhere they go, who have encountered tigers and other amazing stories. Some of these documentaries are narrated by well known figures, such as Robert Redford and Tom Sellick. This Festival runs the evenings of November 1, 2, 3, and 5 at the Kay Meek Centre in West Vancouver. Tickets ,may be purchased online or at the door. The Green Screen Film festival is Presented with our grateful thanks by the visionary Mark Sager and his Foundation for the Arts. So often people talk about their commitments but Mark not only puts his commitment into action he also provides the money to ensue his visions become reality. Thus it is with the Green Screen International Film Festival. Mark Sager and his Foundation for the Arts has provided generous funding and support on all accounts. We believe the films that get a chance to be seen and make the difference they were intended to make will in some way reward his generosity. Without these visionaries who put their money and actions behind their words we would live in a much sadder, poorer world. We are all enriched by his generous spirit.
